New and Improved To-Do list! This should be IT! If I do all of these, then I'm done!

Blue means ASAP
Pink means depends on bottom bowl -- which should arrive soon
Orange means optional, or possible dropping if I get short on time

Immediate list:

Shopping:

Get diffuser circle
Felt for filter bags
Mesh for diffuser
Nuts and bolts to hold metal on pedistal and bowl
Get water storage -- garbage cans, and nifty rectangle bins
Get tarps to cover fuel drums and water storage
Call folks in Sparks -- [775-689-1222] -- ask for Jeff Barns
Get CO2 extinguishers
Get battery for fuel?

Epoxy the fittings so they don't leak
Attach fuel line
Diffuser

Get/make circle for diffuser
Make filter bags for diffuser
make spiral, to make water spiral outward smoothly [note: use leftover sheet metal?]
Attach mesh for bag, so water can get out the top of the bag
Attach fuel elbow in center, and goes under mesh
propane attachment in center?

Pedistal support [the 55 gal barrel holding top bowl]:

Cover w/ metal
Get nuts and bolts to hold metal
footing for pipes

wood w/ cloth? [I already have an old piece of wood which works]

Inside piping

Water

Cut horizontal pipe to fit inside bottom bowl
Epoxy a piece of pipe into bulkhead to attach flexible coupling to
Make cap for suction connection -- so suction hose can be dropped into water storage to refill

Fuel [this is a water-tight pipe, which is basically a "tunnel" through the water to feel the fuel line [and whatever else might be needed] to the inner part of the pedistal barrel]

Cut the horizontal pipe to fit
Cut vertical pipe to top of water level
Horizontal pipe will go to a flexible coupling
Epoxy pipe piece to bukhead to attach to coupling
Weld horizontal and vertical to elbow -- MUST be water-tight after assembly -- fun fun fun!

Filter bags

Get felt material
Sew bags
Make attachment -- zip ties!

Outside piping

Get pipe for suction hose?

Bottom bowl

3 bulkheads -- to attach hoses to side of bowl, and fuel "tunnel"

Cut holes for bulkhead -- hole cutter?

Attach quick-connects to side
Cover outside with metal -- find thin sheet metal, [6'x3.14 = 18', 3' tall]
Get long nuts and bolts for this
Cover inside with metal
Wood/astroturf so ground around bowl isn't a mud pit [I hate to make it optional, but if it doesn't get done, I won't cry.]
Funnel to catch water splashes -- call steel fabrication

Water pump

Attach pump fittings
Get velcro to tie down hose locks
Seal the hoses from leaks...get hose clamp
Box for sound -- build a plywood box, lined with carpet, 1' clearance on all sides of the pump, raised 2", and above the pump by 2' [this is said to be almost silent!]

Get plywood and corner pieces
Get carpet
Get stapler -- or use tacks
Staple carpet in "waves" to help reduce sound even more

Attach roll cage -- when it arrives
Get gas cans for pump gas
Extra oil -- 10w 40

Fuel pump

Figure out hose feed from barrel
Take cap to store and find similar fitting to attach hose to feed
Get tap hole vent [per George's suggestion] -- at Sparks?

Water storage

Get garbage cans
Get nifty rectangle storage bins
Drill holes in tops to prevent stealing of water

Fuel storage

Get fuel in Sparks -- call fuel folks there [775-689-1222]
Bring hand pump
Get tarps to cover fuel drums and water storage
Extra rope
Get bucket and towels to keep fuel below boiling point :)
Get wire and aligator clips for ground to static-ground drums so no static sparks when transfering fuel or after fuel has sloshed around during transport

Safety station

Get CO2 extinguishers -- get them from AAA? or new? or refurbished?
Hair ties
Wool hats
Burn first aid
Station itself -- how is this displayed?
Self-lighting system -- pizo-elec switch, and wires -- go through fuel "tunnel"

Transport

Truck needs -- unload? dolly? padding for transport?
Find out when CMR returns home
